Job completed (Thanks for the advice!)

Last month I posted some questions about RV covers and shortly afterward pulled the trigger on a Classic Accessories PolyPro 3.

Finally got a nice sunny day with NO WIND to get it installed. Beforehand I went around the TT and placed foam rubber pieces over any sharp edges. Our "box" is 25 feet long so I bought the 24 to 27 foot cover. It had enough extra to go over the propane tanks, electric lift, and end of the tongue. Cinched up pretty nice. I'm hoping for the best because our RV parking area is on the south side of the house, so the trailer will be mostly sheltered from the harsh NW winter winds.

Thanks for all the advice!!
  • Looks good! The next cover I buy is going to be one that jumps up there on its own lol!

I totally understand what you mean!! Getting up on an RV and tossing fabric around is a job for the young!
  • Looks good, I had thought about one for a long time. but finally bit the bullet went ahead and had a carport built. hope you don't have trouble with rodents.

  • That should work really well for you, LeBout. We had a similar RV spot in our last house, nice & sheltered from wind, and a cover that fit fairly similarly to how yours does. Worked great for several seasons. One nice thing - we have MaxxAir vent covers & could leave the vents open over the winter to cut down on condensation, since they were under the cover. Worked great!

I never have. The trailer has an enclosed underbelly, and that seems to be one of the best defenses about the critters getting in.

Excellent suggestion. I have a MaxxAir installed on the one vent in the trailer, so I will be sure it's open! Thanks!
