How is it possible that the Nissan Titan loses 25% on every monthly report? It seems that pretty soon they will be dividing the one they sell into 4 pieces :)
FWIW, I owned one back in 2006 and thought it was a pretty nice truck. I guess it's just a good example of how standing still in the truck biz is moving backwards.
Ram is gaining nicely still I see.
I'm starting to wonder if Fred D. is loosing it over at Nissan.

Problem with the Titan is it's a 10 year old platform sorely in need of a do-over. Have several friends with a Titan and they really like the truck, it just is not competitive anymore. - Ron3rdExplorer IIILooks like Ram's really coming on strong!
- crcrExplorerAre these sales numbers only for 1/2 ton models, or do they include 3/4 and one ton models as well?
- Fast_MoparExplorerSilverado YTD sales should have been higher (new design). I see a lot of them around here, for whatever that is worth. Nice looking truck.

Hmmmmm. Ford still winning with a design thats about to be replaced. Interesting.
Interesting indeed, but Ford enjoys a good reputation, year after year, of a good quality built truck. They look good, drive and work well. Those that bought them before are assured they can buy another without worry. Ram builds a great vehicle these days and more and more people are discovering the refinement they offer, but they have had some problems in the past. GM, over the years designed them well, but crippled the suppliers to build cheaper and cheaper until many who've had problems before are looking elsewhere. The new ones are nice, but they didn't set the bar. LED lights and a step hole in the bumper are fine, but no diesel or small turbo option, no 8 sped transmission or alternate suspension choices etc, is not going to set sales records. mtofell1 wrote:

- AlmostAnOldGuyExplorerHats off to Ram for their continued strong showing. From what I have read their 2500 with the 6.4 looks to be very capable and pretty good mpg.
I am curious to see how Ford will do with the new F150. I have been very happy with my F150 HD payload, but I also like that it weighs 6k even if I give up a little on the mpg.
Glad the overall numbers are good and folks are earning a living cranking 'em out. And thanks to the folks in Ohio who built mine about two years back to the day. Best rig I have ever owned.
Good luck all,
Stu - Cummins12V98Explorer IIILooks like the quality and good looks of the newer RAMS is catching on!
