Just drove 3500 slt Big horn

When I ordered there were two dark brown choices, one with stitching. You really had to look close!

Didn't RAM ditch the fancy laser marking on the Long Horn seats? Some thought it looked obnoxious, but I kind of liked it.

It is still available. it's only available in the darker brown leather. You really have to pay attention when ordering to make sure you either get it or you don't. Of course I checked the fancy stitching box!

I like the way the dash is laid out better. Especially the larger touch screen and improved Nav.

I am looking forward to the new nav system. Hope I like the cluster better. I assume the rest of the interior is the same as what I already have in the 11.

I liked it also, I had it in my 2012 Longhorn, but from what I understand, you have to ask for it when ordering a Longhorn or the Laramie Limited...at least that's what I understood on the Cummins forum.

Well I guess I will add my two cents. I have owned a 2003 CTD 3/4 ton cc 48re. 3:73 had 137k on the clock when I traded for a 2012 CTD max tow 68re cc 4:10. Towed a 2004 36ft Cedar Creek with both trucks. Towed in the Smokes, Blue Ridge and front range of Rockies as well as flat. Mileage towing with either truck was to close to call. Both trucks were 4x4's. Got rid if 2012 and now I drive the truck in my sig. I only have a little over 4k on it so it isn't broken in yet. I have however towed in the flats and even up to the mountains in western Virginal pulling fiver in my sig. I have not hit the scales yet but it came out of the factory at 17235k so I weigh a little more then that. Truck runs fantastic. What impresses me the most besides the power and braking is how cool it runs. Def is a non issue, a lot of hype for nothing. The 2013's and above are also b20 comp.

I went to Woodhouse at Blair when the 03(?)6.7 CxC hit the lots. It was 94" wide. I've built several hauler beds and measured a lot of trucks. It wouldn't be a deal breaker but I'd like to start with a narrower CxC so I can use 8' material and have a little more tire clearance over the duals.
I've read that DEF has a shelf life of about 6 months. My 03 used to be my only vehicle (DD) but I got a Jeep GC 1 1/2 yrs ago for all my errands/commuting so to keep the miles off the truck until we can hit the road. 500 miles on the truck since last Apr., so the DEF shelf life has me worried. Maybe someone will come out with stabilizer for DEF!
From everything I've read about the 10+ CTDs, it looks like the DEF is worth putting up with to have a better truck but the local dealer has a list of guys who want 11-12 trucks as soon as they come in.
My 03 is a towing monster with all the mods and I swore I'd be buried in it but we've been having so much fun going off-road and staying out of the developed CGs, I could really use 4wd now. I'm starting to question my sanity... when it comes time to get more serious, I might change my mind. Craig

I'm not 100% sure about the trucks now but the cab and chassis trucks have always been narrower than the pick-ups as far as outside of tires on the drw trucks.
