Kaboom goes the tire

Ok this is not to debate the tire quality of Trailer tires. This is does anyone know where to get the plastic liner that goes int he wheel well or am I going to be best building something myself. I do not know the dimensions of the opening at this moment, I am just gld the damage was not worse. On a side note my pressures were all good when I left the house and at the lunch stop I did not see anything out of the order when I did my walk around. There was a lot of road constructions I can only speculate I hit something to cause this. A TPMS may have notified me that I had an issue and it may not. However I am strongly thinking about adding one of those as well. The TT is a 2006 Skyline Weekender 180

Thanks

I had a body shop do all my repairs. 100$ insurance deductible and all I had to do was wait 4 days. They rebuilt my wheel well with a piece of metal and replaced my plastic skirting outside the wheel well.

I have emailed the mfg to see what they say. But I am trying to cover all of my bases so that I can make the best decision.

What is the chance of getting one from the manufacturer of the trailer?

We are dealing with the same thing right now. Ours did significant damage to the wheel well (pretty light gauge steel) and the storage compartment. Had a local sheet metal shop build us a new wheel well (they also build trailers, so we just took the old mangled one to them).

If you are not able to find a replacement you have to fabricate something.
1. go to any auto body shop, have them fabricate something for you.

OR

2. buy a walmart garbage can, cut it to the size in panels, use a rivet gun to join the panels.
