Kitchen Faucet Upgrade: New Delta Installation Questions??

Hi Guys, we are installing a new Delta faucet which is designed for home use and has the thinner 3/8" tubing connections. The TT has PEX grey tubing that measures 5/8" outside di and the 2 do not match up.
Is there an adapter for this and where can I find it.. I'll be checking my local hardware store tomorrow... Any assistance dearly appreciated.

Shut off valves are a good practice. It sounds like you may have butyl piping and not PEX. Butyl was typically grey, PEX now comes in red and blue. The fittings are different for each type.

Hi guys, here is the update on my faucet project. First, thanks again to all for the great responses.
Well, I completed the job, my work was good and the faucet looked like a great installation but leaked badly from the white "couplers" on the PEX side. I was happy the leak was not on my addition to the plumbing but dismayed the job would have to go on another day..

What puzzles me is that I used the very same (what appears to be couplers) fixtures that were on the original factory faucet and the WERE NOT LEAKING and now they are??? I'll get some pics today.

One more thing: the RV.Net photo page keeps taking me to a "Google check your cookies are on" page and I can not get anything else out of the photo page. Very frustrating cus my cookies are and always have been ON!!!

PS... Forgot to mention that I did pick up and utilize two shut off valves/adapter components. 5/8" in and 3/8" out. They fit and worked great & look just like the ones behind every stick n brick toilet...

I just went thru this the other day installing a Moen faucet in my TT. What I needed from Home Depot was: Everbilt, compression adapters, 3/8"OD x 1/2" MIP. Part number LFA-124

Thanks for the great responses.. Never thought about a shut off valve but that is always a great idea... I'll check it out tomorrow.. (round two!)

Easily adapted. Just go to someplace like home depot and get the needed brass fittings. It will probably take two per side.

It would be a good time to add the correct shut off valve to the PEX and run the standard 3/8" supply lines to the faucet.
