I have an extra five gallons of gas in a gas can, plus various amounts of gas in three other vehicles and a hand pump. If I ended up staying in the drive for a while, I also have the 35 gallons in the truck. Hopefully, it would never come to the point of needing all of that.
For water, the trailer just happens to park within 15 feet of my in ground pool and I have a little 110v submersible pump, but I lost about 25% of the water in the 7.1 quake when it sloshed out and flooded my yard. It is full again now.
I am sure I will never need all that, but it is reassuring to know that it is available.
