It's good that you have a TT for a place to stay if needed. But, if it gets bad will the roads even be passable ???? You might be better off to shelter in place inside your TT.
I have a sister that lives somewhere near LA. I talked to her once about having a escape route. She told me that there was no way out of town and there was no reason to plan because there was nothing you could do. I thought that seemed pessimistic but, I'm not from there. Don't you have to get over the mountians somehow? Everyone only has one way in and out of town because of the mountians ?
