Leveling a F450

I would try Timbrens, they make 2 different kits available for the rear, depending on weather it is a pickup or cab and chassis.

EXACTLY. Loosen those U bolts and slip in another leaf. Way back when I took my 350's rear packs up 2 leaves (one regular and one helper), then added air bags for that last little bit of levelling and to keep things constant out back.

Hardly ever use them unless I running my gooseneck and I'm overloaded. When I put 25 or 30K on the trailer, I need that little bit.

My 2015 F-450 carrying a Host Rainier has upper Stable-Loads which stopped the loading squat almost totally.

Your spring rate is probably sufficient but you need more preload. StableLoads will do that for you.

Upper Stableloads brought mine back to level. My camper weighs about 5600 lbs.

Maybe because the overloads don’t engage until 3” of squat?
