LifeBlue Batteries Installed
I went ahead and replaced my two LifeLine 125AH batteries last week, one battery had died. I only got 3 years out of that battery, I will use the remaining good one that still has 85% capacity for other stuff.
I spoke with a Lifeline battery salesman in TX who said that the folks that get the best life out of their Lifeline batteries live in the North West where the temps are moderate throughout the year.
I put in two 125AH each LifeBlue lithium batteries in their place. I chose LifeBlue as they offered a battery that had 125AH's in the same size everyone else maxed out at 100AH's. Plus they had the bluetooth monitoring capability so I didn't need any of that extra monitoring stuff.
I was able to re-program my BlueSky 3000i solar controller per their charging spec.'s and I swapped out the charger portion of my PD4045 with a charger that has a lithium ion charging profile from Progressive Dynamics.
The early results are the slide moves much quicker and quieter, the water pump cranks and the stove hood fan runs much quieter now. Pretty much everything is acting like you are plugged into shore power as the voltage remains constant at about 13.2 volts.
