If its a 2008 AF it should have Rieco Titan jacks. I had one of mine fail while still under warranty. In my case it was the motor. If you call RT they are very good with customer service.

If it is an older AF I think they used to use Happijac jacks. They switched over in the late 2000 if I remember right but then again it could have been a dream or just one of my senior moments.

From what Ive seen, HJs were used up till and including 2007. From 2008 on they switched to RTs.

  • RichieC is the master at stripping down the happijacks. I believe he has a picture tutorial on here.
  • Knock on wood, I have yet to experience this issue. However, on my 96 Lance, whenever I use them they squeak alot during operation.

  • Tell us what brand and model they are. Many of us have taken them completely apart and lubed and repaired them, myself included.
