If selecting a SRW vehicle, you will have to compromise on the TC if you want to haul toys. I have a short bed camper with a 24" extension so I can tow heavy and I would not be able to do this without my truck modifications. Although the tongue weight can approach 1000 lbs with a WDH I can split it up between axles or even repack the trailer to reduce it. The net effect on the rear axle is still less than what you asking of a SRW.
Have you considered a smaller TC with an enclosed trailer? When the trailer is emptied, it becomes a man cave or overflow sleeping space. I even carry extra LPG, fuel, fresh water and gray water tanks in the trailer to extend dry camping trips.
