I think the list is a little flawed. They should have included vehicle registrations (mileage recorded yearly)...
My word of mouth sale of a '97 GMC K1500 with 244k wasn't included.
My dad's currently owned '01 Cummins with 257k wasn't included.
My '05 Ford Escape with 204k wasn't included.
I wonder if the list would be different if currently registered vehicles with over 200k were used.
