I can speak on the 6.0 Had Two of them and 6.4 still have it. The two 6.0's were **** period!!! the 6.4 after being deleted and tuned has been a towing machine. before the 6.4 was tuned it had all the same regen **** making oil which is actually just diesel in the oil and smoking probs. after the delete at 40K miles and for the next 70K miles not another problem with the engine and I tow alot and heavy. I can tell you that I have friends with 7.3's 6.0's and 6.4's and the 6.0 is the worst of the 10 or so that I know personally. To the OP I would still pass on the 6.4 it is still not a 7.3 and never will be. My neighbor has a 2001 7.3 with 600K and never even had an injector replaced. Good luck. Will
