Looking for a trailer manual for a friend

Most manuals from a RV manufacturer are worthless, if one ever existed at all. The appliance manuals are worthwhile and you gave good advice.

Usually the trailer manual is just a compilation of the appliance manuals anyway. Scour the internet or try calling the manufacturer and see what they may offer. I have never seen a trailer manual that shows wire routing or anything concerning the construction if that's what he is looking for. Most everything is pretty straight forward anyway.

I got one for my first camper from an owners' group. But, like everybody is gonna say, it was basically useless.

I would guess that the original owner threw the manual away as it was a useless piece of nothingness.

Tell him to come here and start making his own.

Since Palomino RV is still in business I'd use their contact page to ask the manufacturer directly whether an owner's manual for his model year is available. That said, it won't tell him much anyway.

Type in the Make-Year-Model number into google search followed by the word Manual and see what shows up. Might get lucky and find one...

The Mfg's Customer Service Dept. is the go-to place for any manuals available.

Starcraft was very good about archiving their manuals. A phone call got me the generic manual and the brochure for my trailer emailed. I thought that was outstanding for a 40 yr. old trailer.

As you suggested......make his own for the components/appliances.

Thanks so much for the advise guys and for reaffirming the advise I gave him. everything I've learned has come from here over the last 10 years(along with a lot of personal screw ups).
My buddy has owned 4 popups over the last 30 years from the very basic to the larger fully loaded ones. But with health issues and camping mostly by himself it really started to take the enjoyment out of camping. He hopes this little trailer will get him out more.
We will be going camping with him the first few times until he is comfortable with the set up and use of his new to him rig.

Hope he really enjoys the trailer. If it's not too much effort to find a manual, there is no harm in trying. But as others stated, it's typically a stunningly useless waste of paper. What you can teach him, and beginner tutorials online offer, are far more valuable. Even when it comes to searching for individual appliance or similar manuals, why bother? I really have to look at my fridge to tell you the brand and model. That said, it has given me issues twice now, and with five minutes spent on a youtube video, I fixed it, for free. I have had similar results with the HWH, where the repair knowledge, and the information about spending 1/3rd LESS for an exponentially better repair part (Dinosaur board) all were clearly provided online, but nowhere to be found in the official manual.
