First, my apologizes if I make any etiquette errors with my posts... I am a NOVICE at this...
Second, and more importantly, I want to thank EVERYONE for your opinions, experience, knowledge and advice! Thank you! You have giving me a lot to consider and "rethink". I was already leaning toward the RAM/Dodge (once I saw the megacab - with reclining rear seats for my boys' comfort on longer hauls). But I was hesitate because my last Dodge experience was a 1997 dual which did "well" but beat the hell out of you, then trans problems, plus the interior "fell apart"... (so from what you all tell me, they have made significant changes and improvements since then).
As for the 2500, I guess I'm headed back to the dealerships to price the 3500 (I will take your advice and knowledge on this, as well), and consider keeping/adding the factory "tow prep kit" and then shop the hitches you have recommended.
