If you carry a truck camper on a SRW truck and need new wheels, why wouldn't you get 19.5" wheels and tires ???There are plenty of wheel options for your '06 Ram depending upon your personal preference and how you plan to use your truck. What are you trying to achieve? Is there an appearance you're after? Is there a finish that you prefer (painted, polished)? Do you need a higher load rating than stock? What tire size do you want to use?
I would suggest that you sort out your minimum criteria, and then start thumbing through some truck or offload magazines... and compare photos, sizes, & prices from a bunch of companies.
In my case, when I'm not carrying the truck camper, like Ski Pro 3, I run Hummer H2
cast aluminum wheels with 305/70-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I chose the H2 wheels because I wanted to have a specific wheel offset and tire size combo (they are 8.5" wide with a .709" offset vs. the stock Ram wheel which are 8" and 1.700"),
and I didn't mind having to do some machining to make them fit.
This setup works great for me and I think it looks pretty good too, but when I load-up the TC I switch to the 19.5's which have more than 1,000 lb higher load rating per wheel.
Cheers
