I have researched the sheet out of 17" rim/ tire combos... there 'aint a lot out there for this size. If I had to do it all over again, I would be looking at Dodge stock steel 18" rims from the later model trucks.
Sold the TC, previous owner of 2 NorthStar pop-ups & 2 Northstar Arrows...still have the truck:

2005 Dodge 3500 SRW, Qcab long bed, NV-6500, diesel, 4WD, Helwig, 9000XL,
Nitto 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers, Honda eu3000Is, custom overload spring perch spacers.

Any set of OE takeoff wheels off of the same or newer truck 17" or larger are a direct economical good quality option if you're looking for OE type wheel and tire sizes.
Last set, I gave $1000 for a brand new set of black 20" takeoffs. Not the world's greatest tires, but they've done their job for summer use and hauling the camper. All for less $ than a mediocre set of replacement tires.

Same deal, old wheels were looking shoddy, combined with a lack of higher load rating 17" tires in recent years.

If you carry a truck camper on a SRW truck and need new wheels, why wouldn't you get 19.5" wheels and tires ???

There are plenty of wheel options for your '06 Ram depending upon your personal preference and how you plan to use your truck. What are you trying to achieve? Is there an appearance you're after? Is there a finish that you prefer (painted, polished)? Do you need a higher load rating than stock? What tire size do you want to use?
I would suggest that you sort out your minimum criteria, and then start thumbing through some truck or offload magazines... and compare photos, sizes, & prices from a bunch of companies.

In my case, when I'm not carrying the truck camper, like Ski Pro 3, I run Hummer H2 cast aluminum wheels with 305/70-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I chose the H2 wheels because I wanted to have a specific wheel offset and tire size combo (they are 8.5" wide with a .709" offset vs. the stock Ram wheel which are 8" and 1.700"), and I didn't mind having to do some machining to make them fit.
This setup works great for me and I think it looks pretty good too, but when I load-up the TC I switch to the 19.5's which have more than 1,000 lb higher load rating per wheel.

Cheers

Hummer H2 rims in chrome are forged aluminum and more than up to the task of carrying a camper. The hub hole needs to be reamed out a little for them to fit.
315 tires took a 2" spacer lift in front while the rear retained stock right height. Now looks level, not all... stink bug looking.

I bought a set of almost new late model Ram 2500/3500 take offs a couple of years ago for $300 off CL. Then I bought new tires and mounted them, they've been great. They are lighter than the OEM steel wheels on my 2004.5.

Then I sold the old wheels and almost worn out tires for $300 on CL. Used tires with the wheels will sell if there is even a little bit of tread left on the tires.

Whatever aftermarket wheel you get, verify the weight rating before purchase. I've seen some 8 lug wheels that were under 3k (can't remember manufacturer).

You may be able to find stock takeoffs on your local classifieds for cheap (I found a set of 17" polished alum for $100), and newer body 18" for just a few hundred.

Why do you need new wheels?
