Hello, we are a family of 5 and we are looking for a triple bunk rv that is low weight and under 30 ft including the hitch. Can anyone suggest some models for me, I am having a hard time find one and I know they are out there. We are NOT looking to buy new so older model suggestions are great! Thanks!

We would like:

1. triple bunks
2. 1 slide out
3. under 30 ft including hitch or a 27 ft box
4. under 5000 dry weight
5. would like to have both dinette and sofa

No, do the math and you'll find it's difficult to fit both a couch and a dinette into any sub 30' trailer. One solution some manufacturers have experimented with is to install a Murphy bed which converts to a couch during the day BUT you lose a large front pass through storage compartment.

Like almost all triple bunk bed models that Lance's bottom bunk is at floor level, reducing head room between all 3 bunks 😞 ... which is what makes the KZ Spree 240BH(S) so unusual, SO much better. :B

KZ Spree 240BH

We only needed 2 bunks so I removed the middle bunk in our 240BH but for those who do need 3 the 240BH(S) can't be beat. :B

The under 5000 dry is going to be hard !

The Jayco 17XFD barely meets your requirements, but that would be SMALL for a family a 5 and 2 kids would have to sleep together.

The Jayco 19XUD to bit roomier, but, again 2 kids in one bed and the third would be on the couch !

What you really want is a 294QBSW but that is 6510 dry weight or a 29QBS which is 6785 dry !!

We have a Salem, it has 3 bunk beds and a couch on one end. It has slide out dining room with rounded booth and also the couch in the LR slides out. So it sounds like what you are looking for. We love it.

KZ Spree 240BHS ... in the Spree lineup for many years, unfortunately dropped for 2017, but still many around, probably even new 2016 models still sitting on dealers' lots. We owned a non-slide 2008 version - GREAT triple bunk bed family camper! :B
