looking for vin location on 1981 wilderness travel trailer

I got myself in a situation where my trailer is in a family members name and I am trying to get rid of it. They have no paperwork and are out of state and the dmv won't talk to me. They wouldn't eve...

VIN is always 17 characters, so I would say it's the bottom set. Fleetwood towables is long gone, they only make motor homes now and all that info was chucked in the dumpster, or so I was told when I called this year trying to get info on our Terry.
