Possibly but why did you leave out your TV’s payload capacity? 1,300 to 1,400 tongue weight, WDH 100 or so, what are you carrying in the TV other than you and a full tank of gas?
He left it out of the discussion because he's smart and knows the payload number doesn't mean diddly-do on his truck.
Very capable tow vehicle.
Even with that much tongue weight, he still has plenty left over, like 1500 lb or so. - Dick_BExplorerIt's more important that you really check out the rig to be SURE it is the one for you. Spend time in each area of the layout visualizing how it would be used. Stop at a Rest Area, make a meal, watch TV, make the bed, hang clothes, etc.
A deal on a rig that doesn't work for you is not a deal no matter what the price. - lawrosaExplorerHow you making out pal?

Lol yes that's correct. I don't remember it because I've never had to tow anything that comes close to it's capabilities. - gmw_photosExplorer

Because I don't remember it off the top of my head and the post wasn't about whether or not my TV could haul it down the road. I think my payload is somewhere around 3K but I'd have to look it up. I have a WDH and typical camping gear and my wife and 3 kids and two dogs. - mosseaterExplorer IIThe consensus used to be that 30- 40% off asking wasn't unheard of. That was 10 years ago. My sticker was $28K and selling was $17.9k. Got a sofa thrown it, retail about 800 and 10% off everything in their store. YMMV
- myredracerExplorer IIWe used to own a Catalina (2010) and have friends with a Keystone Cougar and have seen the issues they've had. I would stay with the Catalina as far as quality goes.

Addins are a good way to get more value. Dealer pays 30 to 50 % less and you get retail value. A win win!
What do you mean by this? Like asking them to throw in tv's or a power tongue jack? - LwiddisExplorer II“I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD that is rated for 14000lbs so I'm good there”
