Lots of crazy weather this week anyone "prepping" their TC?

We are in the Ice and snow zone it looks like so are planning on getting the TC up in the saddle with full propane, gas and generator ready to roll. part of the plan is for extended power outages in this area and part is for a potential medical appt/ ER run during the storm. Nothing like planning for unknown "excitement" anyone else prepping for had to deal with using the TC in an emergency situation? Am I forgetting anything or would you recommend anything? Or are you simply doing anything different with your TC do to different weather pattern in your area?

Thanks,

We have been hit with 3 storms in the last 10 yrs ,that had us out of power for 5 days. Our camper has been a home away from home. All these storms were above freezing conditions ,so we had fresh tank filled, now its winterized and would be a lot harder to use everything .Hope any severe weather misses you.

no problem. That stuff is sticky nasty ugly and black but it will seal a leak in nothing flat. wear disposable gloves because it is a royal pain to get it off your skin. It is designed to fix a leaking roof on a house in the middle of a downpour. It beats a waterlogged TC any day though

I hope you all survive and suffer the least amount of damage. Right now on the left coast we are getting a trifle of rain which we badly need.

Water in jugs rather than depending on the on board water system. Henrys 208 in-case a skylight gets cracked by something, it will seal a leak even in a downpour. Led Headlamps, good first aid kit, some food that can be eaten without cooking. good rain gear and clothes that will keep you warm even if they get wet (all non Cotton content)fleece beanie and good gloves. warm bedding vs relying on the propane furnace always working.

Well we went out the other day to take a peek inside our TT. All looked well but with the -28C or -18F right now, it will be a while.

We are planning on using the TT shower when we renovate the upstairs bathroom in the house.
