Lower rear of truck

OK thinks for the input, think I will just leave it alone, sets level when TT is hooked up and pulls great.

On my list of things I want to do is to lower the rear of my truck about 1 to 2" to level out my 5er. I have air bags so no problems with loaded height. :)

it'll have a large affect if you don't compensate for the removed blocks.

Have you noticed that the back of the truck drops close to 2" when you load it?

I have the same thing on my old 1500HD, truck sat really high in the back, but was perfectly level when hooked to my trailer.

If you want a levelled truck when unloaded, you'll need to get some airbags to compensate for the weight when loaded. Otherwise your backend will sag 2" when you hook up. CAli style, I believe is what those yungins call it..lol

Yes you can put lowering shackles on to lower the rear. Many do this on the newer trucks however which sit higher than yours.

After you do this however your probably going to be sitting higher in the front than in the back when towing. Ideally you want to be level when towing. If driving at night you'll probably get lots of people flashing their high beams at you because your headlights are now pointing higher in the air. You'll probably want to get your headlights adjusted.
