X2 I have put my Michelin XPS RIBS thru unbelievable torture. Not a single failure in 10 years of towing. Many miles on the highway at speeds substantially over 65. Every campsite in a remote location requiring a LOT of unimproved road travel... Some pretty extreme fourwheeling over sharp rocks on occasion... Situations that an ST tire would fail just thinking about it.. The Michlins just shrug it off and keep working like they should. They are NOT cheap, but they flat out work.
The R-250 Bridgestones are a commercial grade all steel ply carcass and have been around for years. The tread pattern is just like their big brother 22.5" big rig trailer tires for straight line tracking and free rolling.

But I was worried about the clearance. These R250's seem to be great.
- MerrythoughtExplorerThanks for the info! I wish I had known about these tires prior to buying new tires last month. Oh well, live and learn.
- bmet2000ExplorerThey are the R250 tire. And my Open Range TT is the RT310BHS. I got the tires and rims from trailertiresandwheels.com. I'm not sure if they list the R250 tires but if you email or call them they will help you.
- MerrythoughtExplorerWhich Open Range TT do you have? I have the 288 FLR and the factory told me it would void the warranty to put 16" tires in the trailer. I did put new 15" tires load range e on the trailer and one is leaking air at the wheel. Yesterday I ordered new wheels which should be here in about a week.

To the OP:
I tried to find these tires, but there appears to be several different types of Bridgestone Duravis tires. There are Duravis M700s, M700 HDs, M773lls, R250s, R500HDs and maybe more. I didn't find any with this tread pattern. Could you provide a little more info please?
Thanks,
Bill
Isnt this the tire ? appears to be the same pattern .

Bill - bobndotExplorer IIThey look great.
For those who have put miles on a combo size upgrade like this, did the rim psi match at 65# or did it need to be changed to a higher load rating to match the tire ?
I have 50# rims with st205 75 15 tires and would some day like to go up to st225 75 15 or maybe better yet, these tires .
Im wondering if anyone has done this on a 50# 5.5 wide alum rim ?
I see now they are 16" on new rims. As long as they have clearance , they should work fine.
