main slide axle broken - second time

Hey all...had a wonderful 8 hour camping trip for our 5 day scheduled weekend. Our 2014 Timberridge 270DBHS slide has broken for the second time. We've had it repaired twice now, once to replace the broken axle, the second to fix the alignment and now this is the third. I don't know the manufacturer of the motor/axle assembly, but am seriously wondering if there was a recall on the one we have.

My question to all is, have you ever taken out the RV Manufacturer's slide motor and replaced with a different brand?
