On the web page the Summerland looked like an ideal choice. 1:45 hr drive later, arrive at the dealer, go inside the trailer and low ceiling, short bed etc. Bit of a let down. They had other trailers with some thing called a "barrel roof" very roomy, lots of head height, even had domed skylights over the shower so good head room. But none of these had rear dinette/living room layout. There are several 17 foot trailers with rear dinettes, their beds go east/west with some sort of head board storage cabinet, too short for me. I'm deliberately limiting myself to SUV appropriate trailers. My Dodge would pull any thing almost, but its not the way we've chosen to go. A big trailer would be impossible to get back past my garage, just the way the property is layed out.
