Mildew/mold(?) on wood under roof

Hi all – wondering if you can help me out (again).

I had a recent scrape with a Sonic roof. My Rockwood Roo 2014 had minimal damage, but it pulled up a small patch of rubber and old sealant on the rear right of the roof. When it did this, I noticed there was some black under the rubber where it looks like a little water got in. It wasn’t damp – but I tried to clean it with some LA’s totally awesome, and it wouldn’t come off.

I cleaned it up and repaired it the next day with some eternabond tape.

My question is – how long should I have let it dry out? Is that a big deal to have repaired it without letting it sit and dry for a day or two? Again – it wasn’t damp when I repaired it, but I wanted to make sure that wouldn’t cause any issues.

And also, should I be concerned about any other damage? I'm trying to determine how much maintenance (like caulking) I need to do on the roof, as well as the windows, doors, etc.

I can post pictures if that would be helpful.

Thanks in advance - as always, I really appreciate it.

Thanks everyone. I pulled back the roof again this weekend, cleaned it with some bleach and put the fan on it for several hours to dry it out, then resealed it.

It's not the prettiest job ever, but it should seal it well.

I would have added some bleach to your favorite cleaner. Overnight is an enclosed building with fans blowing would be the best solution.

Watch the walls carefully. The may delaminate.

You are fine. It won't mold unless it keeps leaking and keeps it wet for awhile.

If it was damp under the patch it will dry.

Yes IMO you should have let it completely dry out.
