modified Sine Wave inverter question
plan and simple, what has been your experience.
with my degree in electronics, yes I understand the difference between a true sine wave and a modified sine wave.
I have been running my 211K dish receiver and my little LCD TV's off of a 350w/700 peak (cheep store bought) MSW converter for some years now.
I have even ran/charged laptops off it in my truck as I drive down the road
I need to buy a new one.
have i just been lucky with my 15 year old MSW converter?
I can buy 2000w modified for the price of 400w pure sine wave. And I am leaning towards the larger one.
(ps, nothing wrong with the old 350/700, but it needs to go back into truck and I need a dedicated one for my Arctic Fox.)
