I would spray the heck out of all of the mounting bolts/nuts with Kroil or PB Blaster at least a few days before you do the job!

I changed them yesterday and I was really surprised how easy they came off. The top rear bolts I broke loose using two combination wrenches locked together and the others came right off with a week POS 1/2" impact that can't take my lug nuts off.
I've owned several 3/4 trucks over the years and there really is a reason they call these HDs.
All my other trucks had car like HD shocks. These are way more "HD". :D
I was looking at my shocks the other day, apparently someone on another forum broke one of his shock bolts it was so corroded on a fairly new Ram, I believe a 2014, same truck , and year as mine, and was having difficulty finding a replacement bolt.
Mine look like new under there ,no corrosion at all. The Utah salt has not got me yet :) I can't see them being a problem at this point getting them off.
