Need help with leak

The outside storage compartment right below the heater exhaust is wet whenever it rains (driver side rear corner). I've sealed everything in that area and still find water after it rains. Well today I finally found its source, the heater exhaust tube. I pulled it today and found standing water in the box that houses the exhaust tube. Water is actually running down the inside of the tube. The unit is stored in my yard next to a fence, I am guessing the rain is running off the roof (pop-up camper) down the side and into the tube. I hope this is a simple fix, like storing the camper with the front end lower than it is now. Anyone have this problem?
  • Might try putting one or more boards under tire to alter tilt of rig - have vent pipe face downward.
  • Thjat looks like something I might have to add. Here is a picture of the cover.

And a picture of the water

  • Some furnaces have a small piece of metal angled up at the top of the furnace vent cover to deflect water. These are held in place by the same screws for the vents cover. Perhaps, you can add something like that.

Looks like the top of this one.
