Need new mattress
Time for a new mattress but do I get a memory foam or standard. Why did you choose one over the other?

Absolutely! If you don't sleep on foam then why in your RV? I spent 1000 bucks on our old TT to have the mattress shortened to fit. It was worth it. This one we got lucky and got a great mattress that fit.
