It's my understanding, though not gospel, that the bumpers are mostly for stashing the sewer hose and that's about it. Also, that any mods to the frame will void your warranty. Now, if your trailer is already out of warranty, you may be fine, but I'd be very cautions about carrying firewood, etc on the rear. Wouldn't that also shift your tongue weight quite a lot? Just wondering.
