Need wire schematic for 2011 Crossroads Slingshot 23'

I'm trying to pinpoint the wiring to a utility light on my Slingshot. It's the utility light on the front left outer corner - typically used in hooking/unhooking at night. We purchased the trailer used and it hasn't worked since the day we got it. Anyone have a copy of some sort of schematic to help me trace the wires? None of the fuses are blown, the light inside the underfloor storage (which is located adjacent to the utility light but only inside the storage) works, and I tested the bulb socket with my meter and had nothing show up.

Thanks - Chris.

Chris,

While I can't help you with your request for wiring schematics, thought I would mention -

I too have a 23' Slingshot (one year older than yours) that has the exterior front light that hasn't worked for a while. I could not determine the cause of the outage so thought I would just remove and replace the fixture (which also appeared to have a leak issue due to poor quality factory caulking). At the same time, I discovered some significant mold emanating from the inside right front wall (behind the light fixture). It appears that water has entered the outer wall of the trailer through the hole they cut to pass the wires through (they actually butchered the wall and cut a bunch of smaller holes that resulted in a way too large hole for the wires - at least 5 x the necessary size). I am now in the process of removing the inside front wall, two cabinets and shelf to deal with the mold and re-insulate the wall. The light still does not work.

Hope you do not have the same problems.

Although I researched this trailer extensively prior to purchase, I have found it to be the worst and most poorly built trailer I have ever owned (three previous).

If you have any other questions about this particular trailer, that I can help you with, let me know.

It could be the light fixture itself, did you remove the light fixture to see if the wires connected to the fixture indicate a voltage.

Thanks - I'll go that direction and see what happens.

The fastest and surest way to get accurate info is to call the factory with the VIN number they should be able to get you one on line or by other means.
