People should have thicker skin.
My skin is thick enough. The reason politics should be avoided is so guys don't counter attack and cause rancor and bitterness on the forum. Believe me, I could set off on the guys I chided and start quite a brouhaha. We don't need that, do we? That's why many hobbyist forums forbid political discussion--it gets in the way. Understand?
No, I don't understand. No one is feeling bitter but you. Stating that one ethos is harder on emissions than the other certainly isn't very political. It's just the fact of the matter. Something as simple as that getting under your skin = people (you) should have a thicker skin. Everyone else seemed fine.
Mentioning the current admin and EPA certainly is political. EVERYTHING they do is political......
All I did was make a simple statement of the facts, in 16 months we will have a new administration and new cabinet heads. None of us know who it will be or even what party they will belong to. But they will be different. Whether they will continue with the same policies is also unknown, but certainly some changes will be made.
So no one can say that in 2019 policy X will go into effect. In our political system no one can make that prediction with certainty.
