New battery no power

Hey folks,
New member here.
2002 Hornet 25FL
I have no 12v power. New Battery.
Shore power works.
Is there any hidden fuses/breakers?
I'm wondering if the converter has an issue. MagneTek 6345 q series.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
  • It was the positive cable on the battery. I cut the connections and re did it with new ones and it works.
Last place I would have thought.
    Thanks guys.

  • Check for a small circuit breaker within 3 feet of the battery. There should be a very small reset button, push to reset.
If there is 12v power when plugged in the reverse polarity fuses are OK and the converter is working.
  • Be sure you didn't wire the battery cables backward. That is a VERY easy thing to do, and it blows the reverse protection fuses on the 12v circuit board. If you did wire it backward, you have to rewire it correctly and replace the fuses, usually 2 or 3 LARGE amp fuses. On my trailer there are two 30 amp fuses for that.
  • Start at the battery with a multimeter and check the voltage. Follow the cables to the panel checking where ever there is a bare connection.
  • Two things come to mind. Battery disconnect switch and was it wired correctly.
