Would I have any fitment issues with my 2014 Lance 1050s going on a 1988 GMC 3500 crewbad dually?

Dimension wise you should be good as it is the newer trucks Fords and GMCs/Chevy which have narrow tailgate openings, higher bed rails, and taller cabs. The only concern would be weight since the older trucks were rated a lot less than the newer ones, but then again they were lighter too so the numbers don't mean that much.
Not in your question, but the thing that put me in a new truck was the safety features have vastly improved over the older trucks. Otherwise I would have gone with a 92ish F350 crew cab as I like the simplicity not computer oriented controls of the older trucks.
