New Mattress

We were looking at Jayco White Hawks that have a Denver mattress in them part of the quality of that unit and resulting price. Very Very nice...

Our 2015 Creekside came with some kind of inner spring mattress from Lippert an 30 days on that dude was certainly a deal breaker. We purchased a Short queen from a local Mattress manufacturer in our town and it was so much better. We put a 2" high quality memory foam topper on it and wow is it great! Total of 11" tall with the pad. Had to put some much stout-er lift struts to get under the bed though

What we do - we have the short (new, stock felt like it was nothing but springs) and during the day it is in its normal position. At night, we pull it forward and put a body pillow behind it. Our regular pillows do just fine on top of the body pillow, and we have our space during the day,

We went one step further. Bought a Pragma adjustable bed frame, for my back, and a 6 inch memory foam mattress for our Hideout. What a difference. I can now sleep more than 4 or 5 hours a night and not wake up because of back pain. It's a little wider and longer than our old mattress, but we added support for the frame and velcro'd the frame to the larger pedestal. There is a picture in the Modifications post.

We had a foam topper as well. I agree it is cheaper alternative - that's why I bought it at first. But in order to fully appreciate the level of comfort this new mattress provides, you have to lay down on it. Worth every penny...

Called the city to schedule pickup for the old one. Sayonara old, hard mattress!

I went the cheaper route as well by adding a 3" Novaform memory foam gel topper from Costco and turned the rock hard stock mattress into a soft pillow top which we find quite comfortable. :B

2012 Coleman...small world. We are in Jacksonville, as well. However, I don't need a your mattress. We did purchase a 3" memory foam topper for ours and it has been a night and day difference.
