new tires

our new to us TT is an 09 and I took it in to have the wheel bearings done before we leave for Yuma and I had the guy look to see how old the tires were, mind you this is an 09 and the tires had 07 dates on them. I had him put new tires on and up the side wall rating one grade. makes me feel a little safer towing now. Since I had it hooked up and never really did a lot of towing with it, I drove it down the freeway and thought it didn't tow any worse than the little tt we had. the old one was 24' and the new is 35'. it does seem a little rough riding in the cab which I never noticed before. the TT sits level on the street so I am sure the hitch is set up OK. getting ready to hit the road. Just as soon as our new grandson is born and we get to bond with him.
  • Wise decision on the tires. Good luck with the new addition, and safe travels!
  • Congrats on the soon to be born Grandson (and the new tires!)
