New (to me) TV

In November, I saw a truck for sale at the Buick/Chevy/GMC dealer in town. It was a RAM. Looked it over, my 2004 3500 Dually was showing her age and had a little over 200,000 on her. SO, I bought the 2012 RAM 5500 (EBY flatbed body). It was set up with a gooseneck hitch which is still in place, but I added a Reese 30K over the top. 1st serious tow was Dover to Melbourne in December and return in March. Rides a bit stiffer but does a wonderful job in towing a Cedar Creek 36CKTS with a Swivelwheel behind carrying the Cricket.

Is their a trailer upgrade in your future?

    X2.

there is a 3500 dodge CC DRW near me with a flat bed and goose neck for sale.
its got the horse markings on the truck and I keep wanting to stop and view it but have not for fear of "I want it" attitude.

  • CONGRATS!
Put some miles on it and ENJOY

Not surprised it rides a bit stiff :B

    Payload of 10,500 to 11,800
    GVWR 18,750 to 19,500
    GCVWR 26,000 to 30,000

    Towing a GVWR 15,500 5th wheel
    Wet pin of 3800# (FULLY Loaded...high %)

    Kinda like a 3500 DRW towing a Pop-up

Don't see a reason for the 'weight police'
  • Good report! How about a picture of ppl two of this nice rig.

    Thanks!
