Here's my question-
If it's so easy why are there so many posts with "image not shown due to your preference setting" and so many folks having trouble posting them? And, why do you have to go "off site" to view them?
And yes I may be hijacking the thread but it's my thread. :-)
Now this is a good forum (a really GOOD forum!)BUT it would be lots better if the pictures were here rather than having to go off site to pull them in. It looks to me like some folks have addressed this issue in the past and the board owner has poo pooed it. Sure I'll agree, maybe you can't hold 12 meg pictures on aboard this size but you could do 640 pics without a lot of trouble or expense. Other boards do it. I have "shrink pic" hooked up and post pics right from my libraries to other web boards and when the the thread is pulled up you see the pics with the commentary. It could be done here too with the site owners help. It would be much better then. It's still good but could be better.
Now, I finished a career flying jets with full computer controls and I can work a computer to a certain extent but now that I am retired I have issues with things that are unnecessarily complicated. The picture posting here is unnecessarily complicated IMHO (your mileage may vary).
