New tow vehicle

For months I have been searching for a newer tv, used or brand new. But my desired configuration has never been mainstream and I have special ordered three previous trucks. But success, found a 95% match on a brand new 2013 that had been in inventory for a few months (not what other buyers wanted). $9k under MSRP and probably $12k under what it would cost to order a new 2015 in a few months. The vehicle was 1200 miles away but for 2 days time and $600 for airfare/fuel/lodging it is now in the garage. Silverado 3500HD LT D/A 2wd CCSB srw. Time to change my profile.

    This is the 2nd truck I've installed this utility bed onto. Both conventional pickups, because CCs are only made as long beds. The bed is now 10 yrs old and it will last the rest of my RVing life.

    Well it took a while, but transferred the utility bed to the new 3500HD. Adjusted the hitch last week and there is 11 inches of clearance with the fiver slightly low in front.

    Nice truck. You don't see many 2wd DMax's around. Great tow vehicle, does it have the 11,600 lb. package?

    It will be a big improvement from your 2003. I went from a 2005 3500HD SRW to a 2011 3500HD SRW- allot better towing rig.
