New Truck!
Well I pulled the trigger and upgraded to a Ram 3500 Bighorn from a 2500 Ram! Pick it up tomorrow!

When unhitching go to settings then suspension then hit tire jack mode. No need to turn it off when in hitched. Doing this keeps the truck solid and not try to compensate for weight being removed.
You can also add 3 full sized adults to bed hit alt ride it will stay activated.
They would have to be pretty heavy boys. The tongue weight on my boat is a touch over 500# and it's not heavy enough to reach the lower height.
I would guess 600# between the three.
