newbie again, truck camper and truck question

I stopped reading Truck Camper Magazine when their writer wrote about trading in his dually for a new single rear wheel truck because the door sticker said it has a higher payload and he wants to set a proper example.
If you’re nothing but a brochure reader, I guess that’s good advice... I guess...

Maybe expand on what took you away from the TC to a travel trailer and what is bringing you back. Knowing what you expect of a TC will help narrow down TC models and the appropriate truck.

There seems to be no dedicated section, but when you browse through the TC University sticky thread, there are a number of threads linked that deal with some of the aspects involved.
