The dealer did a horrible job of setting up the WD hitch.
Can't say I've seen a sedan of any kind towing a TT in the US since the 70s.
Yeah what a joke, I would like to see a sedan pulling a 4000 lb trailer.
It’s done in Europe all the time. First trip to England, about 30 years ago, we saw a VW Golf pulling a 2 horse trailer. As far as Caravans (travel trailers), mostly pulled by Mercedes and Volvo estate wagons, occasionally a small truck. Weren’t too many SUVs back then.
Yep. Seen good sized trailers being pulled by cars all over Europe. Camping is big there. Many are single axle but still pretty long. Axles placed for lighter tongue weights. They tend to be lower than here and more streamlined. Much nicer inside for the most part. Speed limits for towing are much lower though. Many places are max 80 kmh when towing.
Snowbird season sees a lot of north south traffic in Europe. Campgrounds are nice and well equipped.
