No cold water

This sounds really strange but we have a new to us 2011 Onyx travel trailer and only have hot water in the kitchen, no cold water. Does anyone know if there is a valve or something I need to turn on? Only time I have cold water is when I turn off the water heater.

If you get cold water when the W.H. is turned off - It could still be going thru the W.H. but with no heat it would be cold. Look at the W.H. is cold water piping plumbed correctly ? Incoming cold water should tee and go the W.H then continue to rest of trailer.About the only other thing could be a stopped up cold water pipe beyond the W.H., when W.H. shut off the water mix's in the faucet and is cold. On our old trailer, if you used the hot water, then used the cold water, you had to wait for the water to cool off. They ran the hot and cold right next to each other the length of the coach so heat bled off to the cold side.

Do you have water flowing from COLD side of kitchen faucet that is HOT?

OR

Do you NOT have ANY waterflow thru COLD side of kitchen faucet?


DO you have COLD water at other faucets....bathroom sink/shower/toilet??

No COLD waterflow from Cold side of Kitchen faucet.....bad/clogged divert vlave INSIDE faucet..
Replace faucet with a good quality residential model vs RV Junk

Check the inside and outside shower valves and make sure they're off. If left open and the wand on/off valve closed, they allow hot and cold water to mix and recirculate.
