You know when your DW sends you a pic of this while shopping at the local grocery store she has an eye for TC's. Although this is not technically a TC very cool and unique rig.

- Last year at the big Rollag, MN steam show, I was camped next to a rig that was just the opposite of that one. It was a very old tag along rig originally that had been mounted on a 5th wheel flatbed. The owner stated he had virtually ran the wheels/axles off it on a high speed run home to deal w/an emergency years ago.
Wish I had snapped some pictures. Other than the old run down look,it appeared to be a neat install. - It would be interesting to know his weight distribution. Looks pretty back-heavy. Great idea, but could be hard to drive!

Because, camping is all about buying expensive motorhomes and looking exactly like everyone else.- I have wanted to do that for years. I even looked for several years for a late model Bigfoot 5th wheel to buy for just that purpose, but never found one. They stopped making them about 1994 or so. The Bigfoot 5th was about 20' OA, so it would have been about a 13.5' camper. It had the best arrangement I've ever seen in an RV. I had a 1984 version but had sold it by the time I got the idea. Escape currently makes a small 5th that might work, its very similar to the old Bigfoot.

I suppose you noticed that wasn't really a truck camper, right? Besides, it's not like truck camper owners are the only RV owners that don't have a great look. I've seen some pretty awful looking RVs as far as I'm concerned in all Classes.- it never ceases to amaze me that so many people don't care about looks. :B - That's awesome. I don't know why I never thought of that. I've got to spend some time researching very short FW trailers.
- Agree it looks like they took the wheels and hitch of a 5er. We have the same, although shorter. Put it on a flatbed and built down the sides to enclose under the TC,it added a lot of storage for our trip to Alaska but do like what they did.
- I wonder what the steps (setup) look like?
