Always ask prices up front.
Always ask prices for add on’s.
If it needs it, it needs it. Ask prices, decide yes or no. Get it done or not.
In absence of that, you’re foolish, don’t ***** about it.
Vehicles are expensive, need servicing. You, your wife, your kids, whomever, should have SAFE and reliable transportation.
If you dance you have to pay the band.
Either do it yourself, or find a good locally individually owned shop you can trust and depend on.
If you go in for an oil change, and are advised you also need an engine air filter and cabin air filter, and you ok it, expect a $100 bill. Did you get a price for doing so? Then, no, you didn’t get charged $100 for an oil change.
