I was on my way to Southern California a few years ago in August driving a Peterbilt and my AC went out . I called Peterbilt in Kansas City, Ks and they said bring it in about 8am tomorrow. Got there at 8 got in the shop about 10 and they were done about 2pm service mgr said I have your bill ready in a few minutes. About 20 mins he comes get me to take care of the bill .....they had run a vacuum on the system, put on a new AC compressor , a high pressure switch then filled it with Freon the bill came to $3100 I said to the guy what the......... he says, isn’t this a company truck ? The Big O story reminds me of my ordeal. I bought several new Peterbilt since then and never even considered buying one at the KC dealer !!!!
