Old campers are cool.
I bought this '72 F-250 back in Sept 2005, it hadn't been started since 1991.
The camper came with it, a 1963 Goldcoast 49er.
Check out all that counter space. It had an awesome floor plan.
I was dating the owner's daughter back in Aug 1972 when he purchased the truck. He special ordered the truck.
The toilet and shower had never been used.
The brown on my trailer was a dark brown. I found the original paint code of the truck and painted the brown on the trailer Sequoia Brown Metallic to match the truck.
I later gave the camper to my daughter because I already had this vintage 1969 Excel travel trailer. - Cobra21ExplorerThat is a nice example of an early slide. Never seen one like that.
Brian - jaycocreekExplorer IIOld truck campers are alive and well in idaho..Some are in very good shape and very inexpensive...I regularly see old truck campers for $500 or so...Some are worth it and others are not..
Is the ones that's been sitting in the ranchers barn for 30 some years that are a steal... - LwiddisExplorer IIOh! That’s pretty.
