Older Bigfoot Taillight question

I recently changed our taillights to led using the conversion- on the backups though I was also thinking of just changing the bulb out, though I was thinking more a flat panel. Haven't found one rated very high on the lumen's though, yet- haven't been looking that hard.

Trail explorer-Are the regular replacement-coolwhites from LedTrailerlights you used adequate as back-up light, but more importantly, (as we have aux b/u lights-but there low), are they, during the day bright enough to serve as indicators? Thats why I was thinking panel-just more light directly out lens?
