To get back on track: According to dealer ordering guides for the 2015 F150, neither an XLT nor a Lariat can be configured with a 3.73 rear axel without buying the Heavy Duty Payload option. However, buying the HDP option negates the luxury package and vice-versa. In other words, a buyer can have one or the other option but not both. Has Ford Marketing gone mad?
Also to clarify: the new truck I will eventually be buying from one or another manufacturer, will be towing other than my present 19' New Horizon 5th wheeler; hopefully an Artic Fox TT.
