You don't need guides. Just call Ford Marketing in Dearborn at 1-800-334-4375 and ask them two questions re: the 2015 XLT and Lariat:1) Can I get a 3.73 locking rear axle without buying the Heavy Duty Payload package? and 2) If I get the HD Payload option, can I also get the 501A mid-luxury option or the 502A luxury option?
To the above the answers are 'no' and 'no.' 2014 XLTs and Lariats are, or were, different. The answer to same questions above would be 'yes' and 'no.'
My question was concerning payload numbers for the HD option. It seems no one really knows for sure.
The preliminary order docs I link to above only have GVWR and max Payloads for the 2.7L HD Payload package. Not for the 3.5 yet.
Of course these are MAX payloads, and we all know what that means.
